Low cost Turkish flights from Stansted

Stansted airport saw Turkey's low cost airline, SunExpress launch its first direct flight from London to Antalya, in the Turkish Riviera in early February 2007.

SunExpress airlines are offering return fares starting at just £98 (incl. tax), providing passengers with an in-flight meal, allocated seating, newspapers and in-flight entertainment. Travellers are also entitled to 20kg luggageand 30kg of golf and diving equipment free of charge. The price and service is sure to increase the Turkish airline's popularity in the UK.

Turkey has proven to be an ever-popular holiday destination for many British travellers but flights from the UK were direct to Istanbul.  However, the Turkish Riviera, Izmir and resorts around the Aegean Sea are becoming holiday 'hot spots' and travellers will now be able to enjoy direct flights from London Stansted to this region. Golfers can also take advantage of the new route to enjoy Turkey's leading golf region, Belek, nearby.

Furthermore, Stansted airport anticipates the launch of SunExpress' direct flights to and from Izmir, with a connecting service to Ecran, Northern Cyprus.
