Stansted's new airline

Stansted Airport will have a new airline later this year flying to and from Katowice in Poland.

The Polish airline, Wizz Air will operate its first flight from Stansted airport on 29th May 2007 to Katowice, its main Polish base.

Wizz Air is one of largest low cost airlines that carried over 3 million passengers throughout Europe in 2006, proving it is a main competitor in the low cost airline business.

Stansted airport offers the most low cost flights to European destinations and can expect to grow successfully now that Wizz Air has expanded its flight network to include London.
