What happens if I have a pre-existing medical condition?
A pre-existing medical condition is defined via the following questions that you will be asked if you are booking online or by phone. Please note that a lot of travel insurance companies in today's market automatically exclude any pre-existing conditions.
1. Have you or anyone travelling under this policy been hospitalised in the last 12 months?
2. Do you take any prescribed medication on a regular basis?
3. Are you on a hospital waiting list or awaiting results of medical tests?
4. Is there anyone in your immediate family whose ill health could prevent you from travelling or cut short your holiday?
If any of these answers are YES you will need to contact our Medical Screening Line who will advise you on whether the condition or medication you are taking is covered under this policy.
